Support free education K-14 (free tuition for community college!). Join us with other 34 community colleges across Washington State to voice K-14 education to the legislatures in the capital city of Olympia. All students and faculties are welcomed! We are taking 100 people with us so hurry and sign up. SCOF Forum

When: Wednesday, January 28th, 2015 at 1 PM Where: Quiet Dining Room PUB 9208 The Sustainable Commuter Option Fee (SCOF) Forum is an opportunity for students to learn about where their quarterly $34 has been going, and to offer their input for how the committee should proceed due to budget constraints. This will include conversation on the ORCA program, campus sustainability, and the potential for other cool projects to happen on campus! P.S. do you have any awesome projects in mind? Then come to this forum and we might be able to fund it for you!

SCC Community Book Read

During this school year, our nation celebrates the 50 year anniversaries of the Civil Rights Act (1964) and the Voter’s Right Act (1965). To commemorate these two very significant events in the nation’s history, members of the campus community are invited to read Coming of Age in Mississippi by Ann Moody for our next Community Read. We will read the book over Winter and Spring quarter and have scheduled discussions as well as events related to the literature.
